Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell is recovering after being shot during an overnight incident in Florida, the team confirmed on Sunday, April 28th, 2024.
According to a statement from the Texans, Dell sustained a “minor wound” during the violence that took place at a private event in Sanford, Florida, about 40 miles south of Dell’s hometown, Daytona Beach. Dell received treatment at a local hospital and was subsequently released.
